In Argentina during the national cinema golden age, color lithographic posters combined movie star’s portrayals –which were illustrations or caricatures– alongside hand-drawn letters nailed it the spirit of the film. Lettering for stars revives the principles and styles of lettering applied in movie posters from 1933 to 1955, recognizing and honoring the graphic artist’s work.
